While there are a lot of movies and remakes of this novel, I still love this version (regardless of its accuracy, realism, etc.). Personally, I feel like it provides a very cute version of Darcy and Elizabeth’s connection. The director positioned the characters so that Darcy was never too far from Elizabeth, despite how cold his attitude was. I feel like it really emphasized that romantic connection he feels for her the moment he laid eyes on her and despite his efforts, his physical and emotional attraction that he feels towards Elizabeth is undeniable. As a book, it was a really good read and as a movie, it is definitely a chick-flick I’ll keep going back to!
